What is the National Work Experience Programme?

The National Work Experience Programme (NWEP) places job seekers in unpaid work experience placements of up to 25 hours a week for a maximum of four weeks. The type of work experience you do, will depend on the business, as well as your desired career path. The placement will be structured, supervised. How do I access this programme?

To be eligible for NWEP you must registered in jobactive, over 18 years of age and receiving income support. Participating in this programme will count towards your Annual Activity Requirements. Talk to your Workskil Australia Employment Consultant to discuss whether this programme is right for you.
