To commence the jobactive service, we need an initial appointment with you. At the moment, initial appointments are conducted by phone. A member of our team will contact you by phone to explain the assistance that we provide and commence you in the jobactive service. We know things are difficult at the moment and our communities are experiencing high levels of anxiety. We hope that we can alleviate many concerns that you may have.
If you don't have a telephone, we will send you a letter to arrange an appointment at a Workskil Australia site nearest to you. However, attending our sites in person may be subject to current government restrictions in your area. If you do need to attend in person, please follow any directions provided to you by our friendly staff. Your safety, and that of our staff, is our highest priority.
To help you commence in our services efficiently, please link your own myGov account to the Australian Job Search account, which will enable you to agree to a job plan.
If you have a resume, it would be great if you have it ready when we call you. You can then also send us a copy so we can refer you to suitable jobs.
Having an email account that you can easily access will also assist us in providing you with information about your services sooner.
