Also, as a registered charity, our mandate is to help others.

Our team assists businesses both big and small to find the right staff they need at no cost. We continue to be adaptable and innovative to ensure we meet employers' recruitment needs through these times. As a result, Workskil Australia has implemented a range of virtual recruitment and training methods. Every vacancy we receive from employers gives us a chance to help one of our customers back into employment. Due to the current job market, we are in the process of onboarding thousands of new customers with a range of expertise across various industries. 

All of our usual recruitment capabilities remain. We can assist with our tailored services such as work clothing, personal protection equipment, training and pre-employment support,  and if eligible, wage subsidy support to employers.

Recruitment Process

Workskil Australia will take care of advertising your current vacancies, shortlisting candidates, organising interviews and checking references. We can also conduct free pre-employment drug, alcohol and medical testing.

Wage Subsidy Support

By engaging with our service and employing our candidates, your organisation may gain access to government funded wage subsidies of up to $10,000. Eligibility criteria apply.

Training, tools and work clothing

We may also be able to support your new starter with funding for training, work-related clothing or protective equipment. Eligibility criteria apply.

Internships and Work Experience

It’s important to make sure you have the right fit for your business. You can trial new staff through the PaTH Internship and National Work Experience Programmes. Both offer financial incentives to cover the cost of hosting a prospective employee. Eligibility criteria apply.

Diversity Recruitment

Our diversity recruitment services support Indigenous people, young people and people with disability, injury or health conditions to find and keep a job. Support for you and your new starter

Post Placement Support is an added free service to ensure your organisation’s needs are met. We’ll keep in regular contact with you and your new employee to smooth out any bumps and make any necessary changes. We will work with you to determine your preferred contact method and time of contact.

Keeping the team together

If one of your team has an injury, disability or health condition that impacts their work, Workskil Australia can support them to keep their job. Work Assist is an Australian Government funded program that builds a person's capacity to work, so they can maintain their employment. We currently deliver this service from our Disability Employment Services offices.

Are you a community organisation or government entity?

You may be eligible to host a Work for the Dole activity. Workskil Australia can provide human resources and funding to support community and government projects.  We can discuss project opportunities, budgets and responsibilities with you directly. Workskil Australia will organise relevant checks, find a qualified supervisor (if required), insurance for participants and contribute to materials for the project.
