Celebrating Chef Kara's Culinary Career

We are so proud of our Salisbury customer, Kara, for not only landing a role that she is passionate about, but also one that allows her to give back to the Indigenous community.

Workskil Australia was able to secure Kara a Paid Work Trial at the Kura Yerlo Kitchen, which subsequently led to her landing a permanent position. She now cooks 300 meals per week for young children, adults and elders in the Indigenous community and says "being in a kitchen and cooking for my community was really where I wanted to be"

A big hats off to the team for creating another meaningful placement.
