The Workskil Australia Employer Awards showcase organisations that have gone above and beyond to improve our community through employment inclusion. Organisations are nominated by Workskil Australia staff members, with three award categories. This year’s Employer Award categories are:
Employer of the Year
The Employer of the Year Award recognises significant achievements. The successful nominee will have a strong working relationship with Workskil Australia and provided opportunities that have led to sustainable employment for our customers in the last 12 months. This employer has shown innovation in their recruitment practices and has an ongoing commitment to the training and development of their staff.
This award recognises a business that has a corporate or management commitment to social responsibility (big or small). The business has knowingly provided an opportunity or multiple opportunities to a marginalised or vulnerable customer or cohort. The successful nominee believes in providing second chances, and that a diverse workplace is a strong workplace.
This award recognises a business that has shown commitment to providing opportunities to, and working in partnership with, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. The business will have well-intended Indigenous employment strategies and policies and may have a Reconciliation Action Plan or will have a strong internal commitment to building a culturally inclusive and safe workplace. They will have made opportunities specifically available for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander customers and worked closely with our Workskil Indigenous Division.
This year’s awards will be presented at various events across the country from February to March, so keep an eye out to see who wins. To find out more about our no cost recruitment service click here.
